Discover the fascinating versatility of seasonal mushrooms with The Chinese Library’s newest tasting menu, Treasures of the Earth. Chef Junno Li unites coveted mushrooms, seafood and impeccable culinary techniques to celebrate the harvesting season and showcase China’s rich culinary heritage.

Mushrooms have long been seen as “treasures of the mountains” in Chinese culture, boasting plentiful health benefits and methods of preparation. Chef Junno Li masterfully highlights the natural flavours, fragrances and textures of the produce and transforms them into 10 exquisitely refreshing dishes, each meticulously crafted to demonstrate the culinary flair of the diverse regions in China.

Incorporating 12 types of the rarest and freshest mushrooms, the menu brings out the intricate and earthy tones of premium wild mushrooms. Sample the stellar flavours from dishes including Thinly sliced winter melon with red shrimp, Deep-fried stuffed Alaskan king crab meat with snow swallow, Bamboo fungus roll in Chinese lychee mushroom soup, and even sweets like the Porcini, almond and hazelnut dacquoise and much more.

Come discover the essence of the earth’s hidden treasures at The Chinese Library. Treasures of the Earth is available from now until 21 October, priced at HK$988 per person.
